Why We Created StarSpark

The education system faces an impossible equation:
Fixed time + fixed curriculum ÷ different learning speeds = too many students left behind.

Classrooms move at one pace and follow one method, but every child learns differently. A missed concept in third grade often grows into visible struggles by eighth grade. Large class sizes make it nearly impossible for teachers to diagnose individual weaknesses and rebuild foundations. Rohit Joshi

Rohit is a highly accomplished AI and ML expert with a proven track record of innovation and impact in the world of tech. An IIT graduate, he has consistently pushed the boundaries of AI technology, developing long-horizon user behavior-based generative ad ranking models at Meta and optimizing AutoML models at Microsoft. His work has not only driven business results but also focused on ethical and privacy-preserving AI practices.

Rohit's dedication to leveraging AI for social good is evident in his role as an AI advisor to Husk Power Systems, where he contributed to their UN-recognized "AI for the Planet '23" award. His passion for education and his deep understanding of AI's potential led him to co-found StarSpark.AI. Rohit's technical expertise and commitment to making a positive impact make him an invaluable asset to the team and a driving force behind StarSpark.AI's mission to revolutionize math education.

Ashish Bansal

Ashish is a seasoned AI and ML expert with a deep-rooted passion for education. His journey began with securing a coveted spot at IIT, a feat requiring exceptional mathematical prowess. He further honed his skills at the Kellogg School of Management, earning an MBA. Ashish's professional trajectory is marked by significant contributions at leading tech companies like Google, Amazon, and Twitter, where he built cutting-edge AI solutions.

Coming from a family of educators, with both parents and grandparents being professors, Ashish has a unique appreciation for the transformative power of learning. He combines this heritage with his technical expertise to lead StarSpark.AI's mission of revolutionizing math education. As an awarded author of a book on Natural Language Processing and holder of multiple patents, Ashish is a recognized authority in the field of AI.
